Platinum Safety Team

On May 16th and 17th the Platinum Safety Team conducted the 2nd Safety Audit of the year, and this time they were at Martinsburg Precast plant in West Virginia.

We started the day off attending a well led safety meeting with the Martinsburg team that included an introduction of our new Continuous Improvement leader, Mark Thurston.

The team dove right in and went to work observing behaviors and processes of the Martinsburg group.

What a great time we had conducting not only behavior assessments, but also hand safety reviews, energy control reviews and standard safety audits.

Overall, the team had a great time interacting with the employees and enjoying open discussions on safety.
At the conclusion of the 2-day event, the team identified eleven (11) Best Practices to share with the rest of CP&P.
